With the holidays right around the corner, I wanted to test out a holiday cocktail to enjoy at my sister’s house on Christmas Eve.

We always create a signature cocktail to serve. So I’m thrilled to be partnering with Sugarlands Shine for this post.

If you are not familiar with them yet, you are in for a treat.

About Sugarlands Shine

Sugarlands Distilling Co. is a locally owned, community–minded, “give-back” brand that produces quality, craft spirits. Their distillery opened in 2014 in downtown Gatlinburg, Tenn.

They offer popular tours and workshops, where guests are invited to taste samples of their award-winning spirits.

You may also recognize them from the popular television show, Discovery Channel’s Moonshiners Legends, who bring their traditional recipes to you!

Check out some of the other moonshine flavors:

  • Blueberry Muffin
  • Maple Bacon
  • Apple Pie
  • Pina Colada

In addition to moonshine, they also offer award-winning whiskey and sippin’ creams.

Since my sister and I are both fans of peppermint, I decided to try out the peppermint moonshine first for our Christmas Eve cocktail, with a peppermint white russian.

The peppermint blends perfectly with the coffee liqueur and packs quite the punch, without being overpowering.

You can make up a batch to serve for the holidays, or just enjoy this festive cocktail for a weekend treat.

I also received Cole Swindell’s pre show punch, apple pie and blackberry moonshine, so there will be plenty more moonshine spirits coming up!
